MET. UPDATED. EMBRACED. [PART II]

you won't believe how busy i am, no wait. actually most of you guys will believe how busy i am, cos everyone keep saying, "you're always the busy one leh", or "when to go out? ask eileen loh, she so busy". sorry eh..but this is the kind of busyness that i enjoyed engaging in, not in work, not in studies but in friends. =) i even have to write down what date, which day, what time, which place, who i am going out with and what we'll be doing, damn! if only i could be this hardworking in my studies. HA! this week i went out on 3 days with 6 different groups of people. man...life is sweet. (:

again met saleha baby, this time is to the popular @ orchard mrt, they're having moving out SALES! call us aunties, but we're definitely going to grab some stuff. hees! well..she got a couple of books and so have i, then lunch at delifrance. the start of my gourmet journey in the many days ahead. yea..indulgence, at the expense of my weight that is. -_-" sigh.. i had onion soup with melted cheese on top, and baby had chicken lasagna. next, we went orchard library to return baby's book and she borrow a few books in return. i wish i could read like her, but i'm hopeless with thick books, the only books i read is with lots and lots of pictures! LOLS. pretty thangs'. ;) we were so persistent on taking photos in the lift, we waited until the lift was 'ours' and took 2 photos. haha!

alright, moving on to second group. kelvin kiong, my son. LOLS. it has been a while since i hang out with that little dude. we had dinner @ sakae sushi with boo and my bro. well..if there is one thing i learnt that day, that is no photo-taking allow in sakae on their food, but i did managed to snap a few shots. ;D while waiting for kiong, saw mrs poh and her husband, she said i lost weight, wait till she sees me now. HAHA! anyway, gave kiong the mickey mouse puzzle i bought for him, just a little gift, no reason needed. i'm so irritated that we don't have a proper group photo because of my stupid brother. here's the rest of it. ;)

shopping spree with stephanie lo. lols! bought a Giordano jeans at half price, i believe the last jeans i bought was at Giordano too with janice like more than SEVEN years ago! haha! some thing's wrong with me, i know. and you know what? i didn't even want to buy a jeans in the first place, it was steph who tried and it doesn't suit her unfortunately, then i tried and steph "commanded" me to buy because it was on 50% discount. thanks steph! :D bought 2 black/navy blue tops from Esprit, as most of my dark-coloured tops are ruined after a period of time. then i headed to town to meet cheng liang and my bro for movie, blades of glory. didn't get to watch eventually, only the first 2 rows of seats available. darn it! and i forgot to take pictures with steph, arrggh! >_<

25.05.07[Fri]
pay cheque day! my pay cheque is finally ready, went town to have dinner with my ITIS ex-colleagues. (= my manager, ashley, promised me a lunch treat, really nice of her. we had breeks @ taka, yummy! so glad to see wendy and rachel again, they were really nice to me when i was working there. lunch with a new colleague whose name i can't remember now, sorry about that! STM[short-term memory] catching up on me, hees. after lunch, i walked back to the office with them, and they tempted me to go up for coffee, and i gave in to temptation. lols! good to see mr tan and lydia again though, then is straight home for a nap before dinner with poly forum friends.

planning outing for this group of people can kill me. let's see, ah seng and esther work at the extreme east side, and edison and irene work at the extreme west side. some working, some studying, so deciding on the venue, date and time has given me a big headache. and just when i thought all is done, it's not. on the way home from somerset, irene sms me said she's not feeling well and might not be able to make it. then when i woke up from my nap, irene said she'll be joining us, then esther sms me that she might not be able to join us because of last minute OT. after i convinced esther to join us, edison said he can't make it because of work. *shakes head* LOLS. but it's all worth it, haven't seen them for ages, glad they're all doing well. =D had jap food for dinner @ Azabusabo, marina square. good food again? you bet! haha..finally a little chit chat by esplanade before home sweet home. :D

if you think this entry and the previous one are long, wait till you see the next one. i went out 5 days straight. oh man..i'm so lazy to get it started and people are after my life for photos. lols! patience people, will give them to you guys k. i'm out.

MET. UPDATED. EMBRACED. [PART I]

finally my job ended last friday, really going to miss the people there and my cozy work area despite it's in front of the bosses' rooms. so i took a few pictures of it. hees.

anyway, after 7 weeks of work i figured it's time to meet up, catch up and get updated with friends, soul mates and what have you. =) so i did, this is going be a pretty long entry, i promise you.

14.05.07 [Mon]
met saleha baby at junction 8, the only reason we go there is because it kind of falls in between our residence and there's coffee bean there. =D we had our long awaited cheesecake along with a banana cake and lots of updates and "complains" about guys from 3M02. -bleah! LOLS. was supposed to meet sutha baby who just turned 21(congrats!), but she's still sick so please take care and come join us soon ya!

meet saleha. she not only has a sweet tooth, she also has chocolate tooth, candy tooth, cheese tooth. she's my queen of desserts! HAHA. XD

then headed back to town to meet lissa, rini and steph for dinner before lissa leave for indo. after much discussion and nonsense, we ate indo food, healthy avocado beverage, 'koropok' with tasty peanut sauce and grilled chickens. -yummy! next we went bonkers like a bunch of underage kids, walking around, talking crazy, taking neoprints and tons of pictures, it does reminds me of the good old days back then in secondary school. oh..i really do love these girls. =)

another fly away bird, come back to our nest soon sa. so going to miss her! >.<

15.05.07 [Tue]
this is another long awaited meet up with my 38s! and this kind of meeting only screams FOOD! CAM-WHORING! and LOTS of BITCHING and GOSSIP! poor yen and tang had been through some bad episodes of their own recently. can't help them much, other than listening to them and treating them nice food for comfort. so it's thai express for candy and coffee club for yen. tom yam soup and chocolate fondue, should be able to warm their stomachs and their hearts. hees. x) yen have to leave early because of work the next morning, so owen joined candy and i, we came to this ktv place called 'the one' located next to cine. music is another alternative to get your emotions revolving and before you know it, you're already expressing it out. i wish nothing more than happiness and peace for these 2 girls. (:

16.05.07 [Wed]
spiderman 3! woohoo! i've waited for 2 weeks for this show. from what i've heard, the girls love it, the guys didn't fancy it because of the lack of actions. well..i have to admit i like 1 and 2 better, but 3 isn't that bad really. sadly, the cute harry osborn died, but it's nice to see him make up with peter parker before it ends. i like good old-fashioned happy endings. hees. (= so much for spiderman, i forgot to mention the people i watched it with, LOLS. janice and cherie! ;p amelia didn't join us as she has watched it. moving on to dinner, the asian kitchen. cherie had pork chop fried rice, janice had wanton ramen and i had my usual zha jiang mian, plus we shared 6 juicy pork dumplings. tell me i had too much good food for a week. (x shopped around and ended with a must-have stop for coffee when you're out with cherie. coffee bean again. lols! well..janice and i will do anything for her as our little girl is leaving for U.S. soon, just want to spend more time with her. =)

remember the times, and take good care of yourself.

well so much for that, now there's something interesting to blog about because it doesn't happen often. yesterday went swimming at steph's house, i really need to get those stamina back and get my energy going for sports again. after all those swimming, i was exhausted and fell asleep for about 2 hours before janice came knocking on my gates(you guys know i don't have doors. =p). she came to 'pick' me up for the big FA Cup Final..honestly, i'm not a big fan of soccer but i would love to watch a game with my friends talking about football and cute boys. ;) but just not after 3 hours of swimming. HAA. i really enjoyed it, but they have to play for a 30 mins extra time to make me miss my bus! -_-" so Chelsea won, congrats to janice and many thanks to cherie & family for the hospitality and the ride home. we should do this more often, when all of us have enough sleep okie. hehe. didn't i promise you a long entry? (;

CHINESE SONGS, IT HAS BEEN A WHILE...

i must keep my blog alive, a week without updates and my friends are worried that my blog is dying, actually lots happened recently, just lazy to update. hees. well..you know me. ;p last friday was the LAST day of work, i know i've said a dozen times, but it really is my last day k. from a week job to 7 weeks job, i'm glad that i've learnt a lot and met really nice colleagues, so thanks all. will miss you guys. =) spent my friday dinner with jan, last minute dinner, we ate ramen at marina square and fate brings lee hong to me! ;) omg! i miss that girl. i just wish that you rest well and don't until you're sick please. -hugs-

then came saturday, k-box with janice finally ever since who knows when. too bad cherie can't join us, next time eh! ;D it has been a long time since i sang at ktv, my singing sucks! poor janice. LOLS. xp and my chinese songs are not updated, haven't been listen to chinese songs, look at my playlist and you'll know. unfortunately, it hasn't been a 'smooth-sailing' day cos' don't know since when k-lunch is until 1 pm. plus i was sort of 'attacked' by a bug or something unknowingly. actually i think i killed the poor bug or whatever it is, cos' while i was walking home, suddenly i felt water between my legs and some sort of sting. the next thing i know, my both legs were red and swollen like rashes. damn itchy! =( hopefully it'll heal soon.

sunday was Mother's Day, celebrated with aunt and uncle too with home-cooked crabs. =D got mummy her favourite durian cake in a heart shape, unfortunately they cut and ate it before i could take any picture of it. -.-" hees. mummy has been sick for the past few days, cough, vomit, fever. i pray hard for her recovery. love you mummy. muacks!
